From One Birthday To The Next

To describe me takes talent... all I can say is, "Come back here and i'll bite your legs off!" Thats my favorite line from Monty Pythons-The Holy Grail... If I haven't scared you off with that brief introduction, i guess you deserve to read some more about me.

Today was one of the most useless days ever. I did nothing, and even when I DID do something, it turned out I was doing nothing after all. To think I COULD have slept late and not wasted 20 shek going to Jerusalem. I dislike Sherut Leumi people.
g'night mush and I hope tomorrow turns out a lot better... I need it...

Yesterday I cleaned my part of the room for pesach. The room is not split down the middle and not even half mine half hers. But at least my part is clean, organized, and very me-like.
I had school today, if anyone believes me. I even got there in time for chemistry. It was a boring day and I ate a package of rice cakes. I am very sick of them now. My sport report grew a little bit and I studied for Toshbah.
When I got home, Eema and I drove up to the Shomron and saw Aunt Sharon, Raquel, Adina, and Ari for a little while. It was nice.
We then continued on the road toward Kidumim. We picked up Eli and five little hamsters, all in their cages. They are actually kind of cute and fuzzy and they arent boring like fish.
I got home and had a piano lesson. It was a good one. I know the pieces so well, that Judy is starting to nitpick at all the little details that wouldnt matter if I didnt know the pieces as well as I know them. I guess after playing them for so many hours for seven months, I think, you would begin to know them pretty well.
Well, thats all for today folks. Tomorrow I have an interview for sherut leumi. This is really getting boring already! and I need to finish reviewing the chomer for my matkonet at least once... AH! I dont like toshbah very much.
well, g'night mush...

Well, it seems you learn new things every day. Useful things? No, I dont think so, but it is information and knowledge is power. Although you can know a lot and still be pretty helpless.

Today I had fun. Mommy and I went shopping for assorted stuff. Rods to hang up, so she can make curtains for them. water pitchers for pesach since I wanted them and she said we could use them, since pesach is coming and it will make the table look nicer. Marshmellows, so that I can have fun making a mess on thursday. And best of all... my mommy bought me a new piece of junk! With slime in it! Now I have two pieces of junk with slime in them! I'm so happy :)

Savta and Saba found more sweatshirts for me, which is good, because I lost the first one in Eilat a few weeks ago. So Eema and I went over there, when we went to pick up Avi from gan, and we picked up my sweatshirts and some other interesting things.

Now the sun is slowly setting and I should practice piano. I dont think I'm getting any better. Either I am never going to, I am really tired, or I am playing the same annoying piece to many times! I like to think it is a combination of the last two.

g'night mush...

Thank you for that comment... It brightened up my day knowing that other people also like to be concise sometimes.

10 Things I learned today that I might not have wanted to learn:

1 you don't always get what you want
2 making pancakes in a frying pan is a painful procedure
3 the guy at zol l'mahadrin has an ego problem
4 I don't understand Russian
5 I also don't always understand confused
6 I dislike purple changing color kippot
7 you don't always know what you need to know even when you want to know it
8 you don't always know what you want to know even when you need to know it
9 I really miss my anklet
10 don't always trust the weather

that's all I think... Ten is a lot! g'night mush!

Today was a fun day.
Then there was a lull.
And then the fun resumed.
Short, and to the point.
g'night mush...

This morning I had a siyeret at Gan Sulam in Jerusalem. Abba gave me a ride in and I got on the 39 and tried to pretend that I knew where I was going. Well, it wasnt to hard. I kept my eyes open and when I saw the correct street sign, I opened my eyes even wider and found house numbers. Then I got off the bus and asked a nice lady if I was in fact going the right way. My assumption turned into a certainty as she told me that if I walked toward the shul it was the building before it. Well, I could see the place, so I crossed the street and walked toward it. Two other girls were there and waiting for our tour to start. Its a very nice place. Very Israeli. Very Charedi. Its cool. I discovered that it is not a teken bayit. So if I get in I guess I am going to live in Jerusalem next year :) that is never such a bad thing. Yes Dena... that means an outing to the Kotel at least once a week. Oh! and I am going to have free bus rides! This is exciting to think about. And I will even have an excuse for my candy jar! Wow! This days ideas keep getting better and better!
On the to do list:
1)homework
2)reports
3)study for tests
4)study for matkonot
5)study for bagruyiot
6)clean my room...
Is anyone else seeing a pattern here?
good afternoon ? mush ...

The 8:20 bus sounded good, so Brenda and I took it to school. Tanach was Tanach. I wrote more of my sport avodah. I had ezrachut which was humorous. I got a ride home with my grandparents. Then I practiced piano well and ate supper, went grocery shopping and found the peanut butter. It took us half an hour from leaving the house to getting home again. now I cant reach sara still and we have to study. oh well. at least I know half the chomer... g'night mush

My room is so cool, but I cant tell you what it is going to look like otherwise Lori is going to wring my neck and feel that I have totally kicked her out of the room. The walls are soon to be "Sammyfied"! Its so exciting!
What else has happened today?
I had a really good piano lesson... Raizi came over this morning and we watched "Kronks new groove". It gets funnier everytime you watch it because you know whats going to happen. But you cant watch it to often or else it gets stupider than it is. Dont get me wrong, I love "The Emperors New Groove", but it IS a stupid movie. Like Ed, Edd, and Eddie. Right Raizi?

Three days since my last post... I'm getting better at this! My latest gripe... Lori! You own to much junk! Get rid of it or take it to Jerusalem! I have just shoved everything from all my shelves into my closet and picked your stuff up from everywhere and put it all neatly on the vacated shelves. Really! You have TOO much stuff! Ok, I'm done now.
These next two weeks are going to be annoying and interesting. I have boring classes and lots of tests and sherut leumi interviews. So all in all it will be annoying and interesting.
Today during Torah class, I played solitare on my ipod. It was really fun, I think, or else I was just extremely bored so anything else seemed like fun. Who knows?! What else happened today? The rakezet didnt answer her phone again. Its very annoying.
I am really kind of tired. Today during gym I watched my classmates learn how to dance Rikudei Am with the teacher. I opted to go and play basketball. I realized that all it takes is concentration, aim, and patience and whoosh! Its in. I didnt do to badly today. When your heart is pumping really fast and you are all nervous then you miss, usually. I dont know how professional basketball players do it! hmmmm...
I listened to the Narnia soundtrack about six or seven times today. Its very soothing. I especially like, um, four of the songs... The second and then the last and then fourth and fifth last ones :) Get it? Me neither!
Oh! I took the train home today for the first time. I am usually against going on the train, because it is not cheaper or more time efficient in the long run unless you have a ride to the train and a ride from the train when you reach your destination. After school I get on the 21 and then a bus to Beit Shemesh and poof I'm home. When taking the train, one has to find a way to the train and then call a parent or take a bus to home. So there is no point in taking the train when the buses bring you closer to home. Today though, Emmy and Rachelie Zitter had a ride to the train and they drove by me while I was waiting for the 21. So I went witht them and Jay was picking them up, so It was cheaper and more time effiecient to go home by train today. At least now I can say i've been on the train. Ok... bedtime! g'night mush!

"Concerning Hobbits" is a very relaxing piece of music to listen to as you wind down after days of nonstop work and headaches.
I havent really been keeping up with my blog lately and I wont be able to update daily for a week. I guess i'm trying to say... get your fill now, because the next few days are also going to be crazy and I wont be home.
We have been working on our Hachtarah and Hatzagah for a month now. It is going to be amazing, lifie da'ati. Our presentation is the famous film: My Fair Lady. I never realized how much work went into this thing! As some wise or just tired person said today, "This isnt fun! Its perfect!" and as another person answered, "You thought our school was into fun? Perfect or nothing is their motto!" Those statements sum it up pretty well. Painting scenery, costumes, props, the acting, dances, timing, music... there are a million and one little things that have to be perfect down to the last detail. I mean, on the scenery we were making sure every line was perfect, when in reality, the audience wont even be looking at it!
(side note: congradulations to Ora, who got the job she wanted for Sherut Leumi! It is so exciting! she just called me now, therefore its in middle of the post...)
BiKitzor, everything was crazy and we are going to be presenting it tomorrow night. I cant believe that this school year is almost over! It is a very scary thought. And its almost pesach again! I'm excited for that!
Ok, the to-do list is slowly but surely shrinking and I am really in the mood to watch LOTR, but alas, Ain Lei Zman, so maybe during the summer since its so soon anyway...
g'night mush!
