From One Birthday To The Next

To describe me takes talent... all I can say is, "Come back here and i'll bite your legs off!" Thats my favorite line from Monty Pythons-The Holy Grail... If I haven't scared you off with that brief introduction, i guess you deserve to read some more about me.

I was really tired and wound up sleeping for ten and a half hours last night. Whoops! I missed chemistry again! hehehe! that really made me sad ;) and the rest of the school day was sort of a let down. Torah-tried to study for the toshbah test Chinuch-talked about short skirts and the way people dress Machshevet-we argued about rich people, poor people, and gd History-we listened to three girls speak about three different sanchanim... Whatever, it was school and at least I told my principle about my upcoming trip and got "permission" to go. School ended. I came home. I made soup and then found a really cool hat and am playing cowgirl, indian, and cat with my little brothers...
g'night mush!

Hello World! I'm very sleepy, whats new, so this will be on the short side... hehehe... three hours later...
No, really! my eyes are closing and saying "charge your phone and set your alarm clock and then fall asleep!"
I managed to get Avi Chai's pants dry before I had to leave for school. I made the 6:45 416 and sat next to Talya. she talked to me, I went "uumhummm" and then fell asleep. she woke me when it was time to get off the bus. So we set out for the 21 bus stop. We were joined shortly after by Dena and Raizi. We all got the school 2o minutes late anyway...!
After getting to Toshbah class, we learned toshbah and then me and Raizi made a dash for our freedom and for bagels! So we went to town, didnt step in the dog doo, bought Raizi string to make a scarf, got bagels, went to the art store. and then we went to Tachanah Mercazit to meet Sara and go to our Miyunim Muukdamim. We got there an hour early, so we waited outside of school, and all I could think was... Wow, Zachy sure went to a dirty school, poor kid, no wonder he hardly ever went ;) umm, the things went ok and then i came home and am falling asleep, so if you want details, post a comment... i love comments... And responding to most of them...
g'night mush!

OK OK... So I didn't really skip school, but we could pretend I did. Five minutes after deciding not to go to school, I looked at my watch and said "Hey! There's a bus in ten minutes!" So I went downstairs, grabbed a bottle of water, picked up my backpack, and walked out the door. I even remembered to lock it behind myself.
I made the bus and got to school in plenty of time. I discovered some more good songs that Chaim gave me on my ipod and so music wise I was content the whole way to school. I am almost done with the book! another 150 pages! The problem with finishing it is that I have to wait to get the next one!
Umm, anyway, so I got to school and spent an hour and a half doing nothing important. Then we went on our siyur to Har Hertzl. It was moving/interesting/comical. These three things are usually a good sign. Anyway, surprise surprise, the siyur ended at 6:45 instead of 45 minutes later, so I decided to walk to Tachanah Mercazit. It only took me seven minutes more to walk than the girls on the bus took getting there.
When I passed Loris street, I thought to myself... "Hey! She would be happy and surprised if I showed up!" So I started to walk toward her apartment building never assuming for a second that she wouldnt be there. Well, before reaching my destination I decided to ruin the surprise and I called her, good thing to, cause she was in town walking to meet Menucha. She did invite me to come get supper with them. So I met them near Holy bagel and Lori was SO happy to see me that she bought me a bagel with butter. Thank you sister dear! It was yummy!
We then went and sat across from Tachanah Mercazit and tried to ignore the two boys who were jumping over and off of the walls. Yes, they were a bit crazy too, I should think. Our curly haired friend had to leave a short time after we met up together and I had just missed a bus, so Lori and me talked for a while and then I went to catch the bus.
The bus ride home was uncrowded and peaceful. The best kind of rides! Lots of thinking time. Plus thanks to my new favorite playlist, it was double enjoyable. I got home and Savta offered me supper. Chinese food! So I ate an egg roll and some noodles and some soggy sweet and sour chicken. It was good! But now i'm full. Chinese food isnt supposed to fill you up though... my stomach is acting funny! First I'm not hungry anymore half the time and second i dunno...
Savta told me that she thought the house was haunted. Someone put a full bottle of water onto the cooler. It was me, but she didnt remember that she left the house before me this morning. It was amusing! I guess she has the right to be funny today. It Is her anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SABA AND SAVTA!!!!!!! We love you!
Ok, its getting late, so g'night mush!

Life is full of tough decisions and today one popped up. To go to school or not to go to school... the house is really dirty and the laundry is piling up and my stomach hurts and I really have nothing to learn in school today (seeing as its only navi class which I only am required to attend on special occasions...). I think some people are a bad influence on me. Then again that means dealing with stuff and its Saba and Savta's anniversary... should I make a cake? ahhh! another question! Oh, by george, tons of fun! I am in a weirder mood than usual... don't mind me, just keep reading and I'm going to go put the wet clothes into the dryer and put some more dirty ones into the washer and you wouldnt have known that if I hadn't told you, but I did tell you, so hold on and I'll be right back!
Did you miss me... I was gone for about 2 whole minutes! Guess what?! The laundry doesnt even look clean, so I put it in for another cycle... on extra hot! I hope I dont ruin the clothes... whoops!
So, where was I before I started talking about washing machine/dryers/dirty laundry???
Oh! Thats right. The pros and cons of going to school today! Um, well it is a bit late to get a bus that will get me there on time, so I think i'm staying home and will suffer the consequences on a different day. I'm suffering now anyway, but *sigh* that seems to be what I'm good at for the past couple of years...
Lorz, make sure you call Saba and Savta... I memorized the last page of Mozart this morning too. and please dont yell at me for cleaning the house instead of going on my mandatory trip today, but my parents weren't here to sign on the bottom line and this pain in my gut is a trifle annoying... Ok, maybe more will follow later...
so good bye for now mush...

Where did puffkins come from? What am I supposed to be playing if not house? Why is it so late? Who made a major out of major major major, who wasnt named caleb? Um, yes, so as I was saying... today was a total relaxation day. well, not really but it went by quickly and ended too soon! I want my hours back! I could think of a few more things that I want, but we wont go into that.
My brain finally reurned from its prolonged vacation. It feels good to have ones brain back. I must confess that it is slowly starting to melt from these past couple of days, but i've been catching the ooze in a cup and i'll stick back together at some point in time...
Hmmm, a good book is calling... and it seems better than typing... maybe i'll fall asleep? and the doughnuts must be around here somewhere!
g'night mush!!!!!!1

Ok, this was one of the most disturbing weekends I've had in a long time. I made tomato soup with tasted really good except it would have been a very good sauce. Lori made challah that tasted really yummy = ) I discovered the secret to fluffy chocolate chip cookies. 1 1/4 eggs per recipe. Raizi slept over and we had fun. we didnt study a lot, but it was fun none the less. I got a good book to read that once I pick up again I wont put it down again until its time to do pushups in gym class tomorrow morning. My puffkin has started planting ideas in my head. Lori went back to Jerusalem and now i'm all alone again with THEM! They cry all the time, ouch! Mommy and Daddy are laughing at my misfortune and enjoying themselves all the more because of it. I better get some really good presents! = P um, I think something is overcooking in the oven, be right back! nope, I was wrong. It needs more time. I hate waiting for things to cook, its so annoying, but they effort is usually worth it. I made a really pretty lasagna the other night. Garfield would have been so proud. and then eaten it of course. hmmmm... some times I wonder...
g'night mush!

Oh yeah! I forgot to respond to my comments...
Eema, hehehe!
and I dont know what I'm supposed to be finding offensive, so you can comment on my blog, no problem. I enjoy getting comments and knowing that people think I'm crazy!
So of you know this and other I figure are smart enough to figure it out!
Ok, now really, g'night mush!

hehehe, i love that line... maybe I should change the name of my blog?
ok, this is really for real ... g'night mush!

Well, I was going to update yesterday and I wrote half a post, but then my internet started getting cranky and I stopped trying to get it to work, so thats why there is no post for yesterday, which is a shame because I actually did stuff yesterday and had an interesting day. I took Raizi to the Rabbanout and to Lehascachat Hagiush to get her exemption papers from the army. Its really funny. Its the thrid time i've been through the process and each time it becomes easier. Not that I really did anything, except walk, talk, study, and wait... but whatever. Oh, after leaving the Rabbanout, we went to MEMSI and now that Raizi has her tofes yarok and her theory book, maybe we will actually go to do theory one day! HEHEHE! I will finally find the energy to wait on a long line... ok, we got to school in middle of the third period, my mechanechet was in a really good mood, so she didnt say anything and she even smiled and waved as we walked into class. We had chinuch the next period and she was pretty excited about it, so maybe thats why. Anyway, I got to be in charge of the VCR and we watched a clip from Fiddler on the Roof, the part where Huddle tells Teviah that shes going to get married, and then we hear another round of tradition and the last but not least Do You Love Me? Do I What?!?!?!. It led to an interesting conversation... about how marriage has changed and whether or not "and affection!" has anything to do with a good marriage. Personally, I would think so. But then the question after we figure out that some one cares for the other is (this was a discussion in machshevet class a few weeks ago...) Was Amnon's love for Tamar ahava chisonei or ahava pnimei? Then machshevet class was pretty boring which isnt a usual occurance, and then I took my dreaded History test, and to tell you the truth, I dont think I did to badly! Yay! It made me happy. The the lasanga I made for supper was really pretty, and it tasted good too, but I never thought it wouldnt, so thats ok. Ummm, then I wanted to go to sleep, but I couldn't cause my contact lenses were in so I wasn't supposed to. Plus I had a piano lesson, so I wouldn't have let myself and I didn't! But I did leave for my piano lesson at 8:52. And then I walked really slowly to the Clarks house, and when I was halfway there I realized that I had forgotten my piano notes! It was 8:56... whoops! So I ran back to my house and got them and then ran to the Clarks. I learned to play the last page of my Sonata! It felt SOOOOOOOO good to finish it! Now to really finish it, I have to learn the last page better and work on the rhythme, but I'm almost really really done! But I know it all! Ok, then I came home and sat on the sofa until I decided to go take out my contact lenses and go to sleep. Then the strangest thing happened once I took my contact lenses out. My eyes stopped closing and I decided I wanted to read Peanuts, so I did, until I fell asleep. The end... Well that was Wednesday.
Today wasnt half as interesting. I wore a purple duster and Raizi's eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw I was wearing a color (besides for gray and white) with my black shirt. Toshbah was really boring, but I got all the notes I need to the test on thursday which i'm gonna study for on shabbat. The rest of school was pretty boring except for the sherut leumi class we had. Damn, I had all the right answers in order to work ina beit yeled! I like adults better though.
Then Me and Brenda and Michal went home together. Brenda and I went and got milk, potatoes, and falafel. Then we had hamburgers. Then we felt sick. Lori says she has to barf too! to graphic?! sorry!
Um, nothing else is really happening now. My grandparents went on holiday for a bit, so we have another hour or so until we have to go crazy.
I wrote a cynical email, and i'm very sorry. really I am!
I think i'll beg Lori for a massage now. She is for some reason thinking that blogging, making earrings, and checking her email is more important than my stress level! How unfair! How untrue! ahhhhhhhh!
g'night mush!

Tuesday, November 22, 2005

I keep forgetting to update my blog! Sorry! ok, first i'll answer the random question "I just wanna know how you wear skirts 'that cover your toes' with out tripping over the skirt?" it takes talent! When the ground is even it is easiest to take even measured steps, when you walk up stairs, you hold it up. When the ground is wet, you pick it up so it doesnt get wet. If you are really talented you can trip over your skirt. But really you just get used to them. Is that a good enough answer? I could explain some more if you want.
My parents went to America! and my grandparents are staying in my house! I am sick of playing house!
Because of this i'm really tired, plus I keep laughing at the oddest times, for the strangest reasons... oh well...
um, I have to study for a history test, and the best place to do it is "on a holiday". Thank you Brenda! no, just anywhere not near a phone, or email, or IM, and even near people! So i'm going to run for cover now, cause my computer is a distraction...
oh yeah, and lorilops... I wasnt hinting that you have to give me a massage every thursday night after my piano lesson, you could poke my feet too! stam, but maybe just this once when my muscles are really sore, from all these stupid pushups? you think doing 50 is enough for the week? i think i'm addicted! whoops! now all I need is a jumprope, right brenda? hehehe... one foot two feet red feet blue feet! oh how many feet we meet! ok...
g'night mush!

Thursday, November 17, 2005

Another morning post, well I guess its really not morning anymore, but I fell like its still 10 o'clock cause I sat in bed reading for an hour, until my piano teacher called me and asked if we could move my piano lessons to thursday night, because i'm a big girl and there are little people who want piano lessons and they cant stay up so late. So I agreed, but told her i'm busy tonight, so the schedule changes as of next week. I played my sonata without any mistakes earlier. I'll try it again later and since practice makes perfect... In total contrast to the last statement here's something I read this morning "why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?!" Hobbes says it in today Calvin and Hobbes strip, thank you Bill Watterson! I liked that line, cause so many people hold by it. I like to know a little about everything and then the more fascinating subject are explored. Most other people though, like to specialize in one thing thinking its enough, and others just dont care and so know nothing. Its a good thing to think about. We have to make our own choices as to how we live our life ;) (i know one person at least should understand the deeper meaning behind that comment.) I made crinkle cookies last night, and now I can tell Raizi that you can get at least 48 cookies from each batch. They came out so nicely! And they taste really good and they aren't too sweet, so they are addictive! Its awful! at least they aren't "deep fried and smothered with chocolate" they just are chocolate unto themselves, but the line came to mind and I had to use it. Its instead of a thank you to my personal blockbuster :) hehehe!
So sister dear, how was class this morning? You know what I just realized, since my piano lessons are on thursday night, you could give me a massage after them and I wont have to worry about being all oily. On to another topic, I made soup last night and I used some of my favorite spices. Want to know the cool part? I asked Mommy if she could doctor it and she said it tasted really good and she didnt have to. I put chick peas into it though, so we would think of you while we ate. There were more chick peas than other vegetables, and its a good thing Abba is going to America to eat steak, because I think he's getting sick of our using chick peas in everything!!! At least he wont place a ban on it til next year!
I really should do my homework, but I'm not in the mood to recopy notes or to write my paper. Sigh, this really isnt good. I know i'll get it all done, but it would be nice to not have to worry anymore. I really have to go do theory... Maybe on some random monday morning. Don't worry Ora, it will be before the end of the year. Hmmm...
Ok, well thats it for now, I'll update you guys about the dinner experiance later, after we have it... so Bonne jour!

Wednesday, November 16, 2005

Well, today was interesting. I practiced piano for a couple of hours. Went with my eema to buy her a new shirt. Did no homework (whoops!) and my puffkin came back to tell me that he loves Jerusalem, and he wants to go visit it again. So I told him i'd think about it, I have a couple of days. I'm waiting to get an email for Lori. And I'm trying to decide what to do later... sigh, being home for so long isnt all its cracked up to be!

Question of the day: How did it get to be Wednesday already?!?!?! Oh, well... I told you guys that time is flying!

Bad News: There is none for today... and dont report it to me if you hear some.
News: My Sonata is so beautiful! My fingers are a bit stiff from the cold, so I'll give myself some credit...
Good News: I picked a topic for my report!
Even Better News: Its a project, so I only have to write 8 pages all together!
Even Better Than That News: I haven't heard it yet, but when I do i'll post it!

Hi Lori! How's your morning? Did you watch the movie in the end? Isnt it good?!
Well, Yesterday was an interesting day... after picking my topic it turned out to be a great day. And last night I went to Raizi's house and we started making cookies for her brothers Bar Mitzvah. I'm making amaretto cakes and coffee cakes, so someonw remind me the week before. Wow! December is going to be a very busy month. I like busy though, so its ok. I'm sneezing like crazy at the moment... Its an odd phenomenon... I'm going to go do homework...
G'morning mushes!

Sunday, November 13, 2005

wow! time is flying, cause i remember posting since tuesday, but whatever... i just wanted to let you know that i AM alive, so i'll post when some interesting stuff happens... I got a slinkey! My sonata is coming along beautifully! My Mommy bought me 2 new sweaters! Thank you abba also! I still dont have a topic for my report :( :) i dont know if this is a good thing... i'll write more later... my arms are hurting!

Tuesday, November 08, 2005

You know what I realized... I havent been using my font and color! Sorry...

Hello World! It was actually nice out today. Yesterday was ok. It was raining, but it wasnt a steady and heavy rain. I love talking about the weather. A new sea was formed. It is located (you need lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of details on your map to see this) in Jerusalem, in the middle of Ulpanat Chorev's basketball court. There is an island in the middle, so all the dirty had a dry place to float to safety.
The Menahel came and listened to part of our TSBP class this morning. Then I did some homework and then ran around the new sea, which takes about a minute and a half, 10 times. Ora was reading a dirty romance novel. The wealthy characters could sleep on piles of rags because they were very creative people... Use you imagination... Wait... Dont Bother.... You sick minded person... I think this should be censured... my humor is on the to be deleted list.
We had classes, ke'ragil... the home we went and home we got...
Then I went and got my glasses from the eye doctor... I picked up my contacts yesterday...
Then Mommy made me cows and chickens and potatoes for supper.
It was yummy
I scheduled a Piano lesson for thursday nighit = )
I practice my sonata... its so much fun!
Um, then I studied for my machshevet quiz tomorrow. I like machshevet.
Now I'm going to sleep. G'night mush!
Interesting Fiction: Grape Trees, Apple Bushes, and carrot vines!!!!!!!

Saturday, November 05, 2005

I learned something new tonight... Make sure you always check your email, because if you dont you wind up getting disappointed... actually, email doesnt really have anything to do with it, but its a suggestion. oh well, I'm sleeping over in Loris apartment tonight. We're gonna watch a movie and then I can wake up late tomorrow morning for school! Yeah! Ok, we're watching the movie soon, so g'night mush!

Thursday, November 03, 2005

Today was interesting. School was fine. A little strange, but fine nonetheless... we had earthquake drills and the school gave us a meditation hour with the sport teacher instead of having regular class, torah class that is. After school, I went to Lori and Shoshana's apartment. I got soup and pita (Lori knows me very well...) Then me and Lori went to town and bought fabric and thread, a smelly present for shoshana, and string for tzvis kippah. I started it and its coming out ok. Then we walked to Kanfie Nesharim and I got iced coffee (my fingers were mostly frozen, so I decided to go all the way.) Then Lori got a new book, which i'm sure she has told you all about. We then went back to Lori's apartment and then I had to run to catch a bus. On the way I met one of my neighbors. Today was the thrid incident i've been in concering him, but the reason this is so memorable is because its the first time i talked to him. Wow! I said "yup, everythings good" and nodded my head. Progress... Then I got home, had supper (it was yummy) but dont worry lori... you wouldnt have liked the salmon anyway ;) I got a stamp for my snail mail letter and tomorrow i'm going to go bring it to the post office! Then I had a cool debate. It was refreshing! Ok, If you look at the time you'll notice what time it is and I consider that getting late, so g'night mush!
