From One Birthday To The Next

To describe me takes talent... all I can say is, "Come back here and i'll bite your legs off!" Thats my favorite line from Monty Pythons-The Holy Grail... If I haven't scared you off with that brief introduction, i guess you deserve to read some more about me.

Ok, I was up on the early side today. It was nice. I made two cakes for Raizi. Ate two patrami sandwiches (the last of my supply) and since i'm going with the two theme... bothered lori twice as much as usual! That should do it... no? what do you say lorz? anyway, I was at a wedding early and I told my mother that it would be a lot easier to be a guy. when she inquired as to why I thought so, I replied... because mens dancing is jumping and running I can do that, I can't understand womens dances! My feet never go the right way! She just laughed at me. All in good humor, but I still think its true.
What else happened today? nothing really, it was a slow day and took its time going by which was nice. I didnt really do much except for bake and make a bigger mess of my room.
Since I dont have much more to say, i'll post some pictures of my trip to the UK this summer! Yeah! Ok... here we go...

Well, I still havent figured out how to move everything around in perfect order, so this post is probably pretty annoying to read, but an explaination for the picture. The one near the sign is me, brenda, and m' mammy on my English birthday (which did matter in England because I was considered an adult according to how we had to pay... The one in between the walls is me, lori and brenda at chepstow castle ( a ruin basically) but it was really really cool and we had so much fun that day! And the last picture, does it need an explaination?
g'night mush...

"FANCY SLEEVES!" This is what I am listening to at the moment... I love when siblings get together :/ ehhhh?
Brenda, Eli, and I watched "The Sound of Music" and they ruined the movie! I've never seen it before completly and guess what?! I havent broken my record. The parts I did see are actually pretty romantic (some people should watch it and take a hint :) oh, dont mind me, I'm just wishing the impossible.) It also has some GREAT lines! "The strawberries! It was so cold... they turned blue!"
ummmm, what else to say? I did nothing today except leave myself in suspense! I finished the book! Why did I?!?!?! I am going insane trying to figure out how it ends!? tick tock tick tock... I'm waiting for the next one... aeh eah aeh eah aeh eah... this is my newest way of writing the sound of my heart in agony! I see no one really cares, as long as I am slightly amusing while writing my blog. ok, to continue...
I woke up this morning and could not feel my right hand. An ill omen... this means that piano playing and push ups will be doubly hard... My mommy thinks it hurts from crotcheting... I dont think so, I think I slept on it funny. I went down stairs and ate all of the chanukah cookies that I had made yesterday. I felt sick. I then spent about, ummmm, three hours reading and noshing, of which I hate the latter... what else was there to do? Bentchumi? Sport Report? clean my room? Those things are hardly what I would call interesting when you have nothing to do. Did I tell anyone that I work best while under pressure and vacation is not really a very pressurized time. So basically after reading and practicing piano I helped Eema make supper and isnt that sad, that the days are so short that by the time I finish doing nothing its time to go to sleep. Lori says she can perfect the art of doing nothing and we can call it nothing doing! Or maybe she meant me.
I realized that this post has been a lot about I I I... this isnt good. I am making (whoops, there was the I again) Lori is getting made funny of, only a little bit, by me. (that was a me not an I). She is making another wrap around skirt. she is getting good at them and more frustrated by the minute. Ok, enough blogging for now... its really late... ok, g'night mush

Wednesday, December 28, 2005

How did you ever guess that one? I woke up late this morning, showered and wished my pimples and other assorted spots off of my face, they didnt budge...
I made chanukah cookie dough, put it in the fridge to chill and then went with mommy and brenda to pick up savta and we went to the shuk, and then all three of Yechezkiels stores... It was interesting. When we got home, I put up soup to cook, made pizza dough, cut open pitot, and made a salad, set the table and then started bothering Abba til everyone came to the table after lighting their menorahs! I was busy. After eating, clearing the table, and putting the food away; I started to wonder why I have siblings. Then we made chanukah cookies... They came out very nice, but mine are mostly eaten already. At least Grandpa and Abba enjoyed them :)
So now, I am very tired. I want to read, but if I do I wont be able to stop til my eyes close. But I'll try anyway. I should get up early tomorrow and work on some reports. we shall see. we shall see. we shall see... but not if I sleep late again... I guess I'll set the alarm clock...
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!
g'night
Ok, this ending was lame, dont bother telling me... last night was TOO good I guess, so now its balanced out...
oh yeah, mush...

Monday, December 26, 2005

No pictures tonight from the second night of lighting the Chanukah Candles, but the evening was a bit rushed. There was so much to do and so little time! We had to get ready for the shul's Chanukah Party. I popped an entire bag of popcorn kernels, and I finished making the decorations. There was also the sufganiot to pick up and getting the electricity turned back on in the shul building... I shall spare you the gory details.
Today I was late to school (I missed a speaker) because I had to finish reading the last to chapters of the first book of book three. I am going crazy with all this suspense, but I realized I had to blog, so I put down the book when everything got a bit quieter... never fear! I shall be reading again soon! Navi was very nice today, I made it through 150 pages of my book. Chemistry was boring as ever, except for when she showed us what polymers look like... they are dangerous and sticky and look a lot like long tougher mucusballs. I cannot fathom why any of the girls refused to look after their first glimpse of it. Shira and I were having a pretty good time watching though! Raizi's Abba gave me and talya and yifat a ride home (Raizi was in the car too! Dont worry! you were there, right? ;) ) um, then the whole hustle bustle for the shul party began and Grandpa arrived from the airport and we were all cheerful and merry!
Ok, the book is calling, but since I am so fascinated by the sheer genius of putting pictures on my blog, here one for the road:

Any ideas? Everyone can have a guess! ok, until the sun rises in the sky-when the pretty bird will sing sweet morning's song-and the child of the sunlight will arise from slumber...

g'night mush

The first night of chanukah... The third one in Israel. I'm sorry, but chanukah in Israel has been a depressing experiance in Israel the past two years... we hardly light as a family and there is no where to sit and look at the lit candles and it just isnt a memorable event... so I asked eema if we could put a table near the back window, cause abbas is in the front and its still persoum hanes. She said yes, so tomorrow night has to be better!
Ok, pictures from tonight! here we go:

This is me and Brenda lighting and Avi Chai's cheerful face? in the picture as it always is...

This is Ezri and Avi both wearing their new slippers that they were anxious to show off in case the slippers get lost in the next few minutes and they dont wear them again... Mommy's skirt is in the picture too...

You think Ezri needs to throw up? or is he just scared that we'll ask him to give his new slippers away?

Avi looks pleased enough and the child does not know how to smile, only make funny faces...

Hmmmm... the next pictures are more little siblings... younger siblings, Eli isnt so little and Brenda assures me that her feet are growing show me boots will be hers in a matter of weeks, ha! thats what she thinks...

So above is Ezri lighting his menorah... and you see eli and eema and avi of course...

On the left here is Eli posing for a picture. Abba didnt catch one of him when he was lighting, so he picked up his shamash and then abba snapped a picture of him...

Isnt he a happy boy? hehehe!

Oh yeah, guess who that is in the blue shirt?!?!?!?

Ok, something good is cooking downstairs... I can smell it!

Its calling, and calling, and calling...

"You take a potato pat pat pat, roll it until its flat flat flat..." why would you roll a potato flat??? Whatever!

g'night mush

Just for its randomness, and the fact that I now know how to post pictures thank you Lori... I shall post random pictures...
Today I feel cartoonish...
Does this not look like it could have come out of a cartoon?!

Ok, enough Random... I feel like I'm usually random... am I? well, suits me well enough...

Splashing in the Rain...

Ok, g'night again mush...

Saturday, December 24, 2005

I have officially dubbed this Shabbat as a good one! Friday night was the usual- go to shul, eat supper, take a walk, be humored... and all that good stuff, but it was raining the whole time! Dude! It was nice. Then after going to shul, eating Lunch, finishing the second book and getting two parts of the next one, read a bit of it, walking for a LONG time in the rain and splashing in tons of puddles and just being wet, well by then shabbat was over. Dry clothes and stiff fingers later, watching the emperors new groove and seeing a little yellow car drive by, everything is good and all is in order. Ok, enough about today! I need to write the third instillation in the America Adventures...
Monday morning we woke up, showered, packed, wrote checks and well wishes, and then headed out to staples, best buy, and circuit city. We brought that stuff back to the house and then drove up to Elizabeth and went and visited Bruriah High! It was strange! I saw people who didnt recognize me, people who did recognize me (which was VERY nice!) and Rabbi O! It was cool! Then we got pizza, onion rings, and spicy fries... I want spicy fries, like the store bought kind (I think we shall have to figure out the recipe...) Ok, we went back to the house, gathered up the garbage, finished packing, loaded up the car, locked the front door and drove to the first of Chanale and Levis Shevah Brachot. They got there late, but it was cool to see Chanale in her new hair... :)
Well, we left for the airport late, and got their, on time-ish... We checked in, got crappy seats and headed to the metal detectors and x-rays... We took off our shoes and walked through.
We found our gate and sat down next to it. Abba went to daven maariv and I had to go talk to the nasty lady who wanted to see everyones passports and boarding passes again. We finally boarded and started our journey home! then best way to be!
Well, its already tuesday... on the plane that is... I was sitting next to a little older Christian lady. she was pretty funny. especially when she fell asleep before take off, they served supper and then she woke up and commented how she wouldnt be able to sleep if the little kids on the plane cried the whole flight.
I got up to stretch at one point and when i was walking back to my seat, some guy said to me, "boker tov!" so i replied "good morning!" cheerfully too... so I talked to him for a while, he was coming to Israel to visit it after not being there for like 25 years or something, to visit his daughter who was learning shana bet in darchei binah, and to teach in some program for a few days.
Then I sat back down and I waited for five hours til we landed in Israel. Ok, so I didnt JUST wait... i'm to impatient. I read and fell asleep again and watched part of batman. They served breakfast and then a little while later we landed and it was so nice. We got off the plane and Abba went to daven Mincha? I guess, since come to think of it, it was the middle of the afternoon... so Lori and I went and found a bathroom, I love clean teeth! It was good to brush my teeth. relief. So Abba found us and then we went to get admitted to the country and pick up our luggage. The luggage had import things in it... pastrami! I didnt eat it yet, but soon! I need to get good bread!
Ok, so mommy and ezri and avi picked us up from the airport and it was nice to see them again. they are happy children and eema had pulled her back out again so it was like being home! Oh, wait! I was!
We drove back to beit shemesh and there was a power outage in the entire neighborhood. We saw Shani, and finally the lights came back on. We ate supper and then I slept for a long time, until the next morning. thats when I went to chemistry class... and thus my life continued...
g'night mush

Thursday, December 22, 2005

Since I'm making you wait for part three of my America Adventures, I decided to bother Lori. Ok, that was not the purpose of that sentence, but its true, so i'll leave it. She graciously helped me upload a picture onto my blog... what is this picture? My Conrad! thank you brenda for holding him while the picture was being taken. This is not the original conrad, but I didnt put the comic strip onto my blog yet, cause I dont know how, but you can see my conrad and later you'll see the eyepatches part... ok, g'night y'all! mush...

Ok, today was fun! Talya was on the bus, and then we found tamar and michal and tehilah and we all got to school at 9:05. That is late... the teacher wasnt there yet, but the principle was standing in the hall and reprimanding some elevnth graders, so when we walked by he asked if we started late today. It would have been easier to say yes, but we just said "beit shemesh=traffic" and then looking curiously at the two girls from jerusalem, he let us go to class without any further incidents occuring.
Toshbah-free-tanach test-lashon-chinuch-chemistry... and no of them was really boring (chemistry included... i love new topics!)
So now I am home again and listening to my little sibling fight over the computer and cardboard house downstairs.
I love babysitting for them!
Ok, I should really finish my America story... well, here it goes...
Hmmm, we are up to arriving at the Halperts. Well, we gave them their gifts: flowers, fish shaped crunchies, parchment papers, kif kef bars, and crembos... The men went to daven and Lori and I chatted with Nancy and Arleen Wolf. It was pretty funny, as was the whole nights events. Ok, Kiddush, washing, and course number one. No offence mommy, but I didnt miss your cooking on friday night. Mitch poured out the first expensive wine... Lori and I dont remember exactly how much it costs, but he is in the wine business, so he has some good stuff! anyway, we all drank... Ok, so I didnt drink so much, but more than I ever drank before. It was good :) Right Abba?! Ok, we walked back to Saba and Savtas empty house after supper and had fun skating on the ice and freezing... Sleep and then forgotten dreams...
Shabbat morning we woke up, got ready for shul and left the house. Shul was louder than I remember it being. why do people feel compelled to talk during davening? It was missing Rabbi C's speech and commentary, but Rabbi Shapiro did a good job too... The kiddush was interesting. Stuie did get taller, and he was wearing an awful kippah, and now he wants and orange and red one... ewww... We socialized and then when I could stand socializing anymore, I went to daven minchah. Then all the men left and the women headed upstairs for the Shabbat Kallah. Tova made me and Lori speak. It was a nice afternoon, and Chanaleh was getting married the next day... scary thought. she got lots of brachot and it was very nice.
After shabbat, we left Chabad and went back the the old Rubin house... We picked up the gifts for Aunt Rhoda and Uncle Michael and forgot the pies. So me, Lori, abba, aunt rhoda, uncle michael, josh, jackie, jeremey, and jeffery (sort of) all talked and we had levys (Lors, i dont know what you are talking about ;) ). The two newest additons to the houshold are Cassie and Zoie. Fluffy, active, little puppies. Expensive puppies... Lori succeded in scaring Josh, by talking about a pocket knife less country and bags of milk and setting slugs on fire. Think he'll come visit? hehehe! all in all it was a very nice evening. Abbas side of the family is nice when we meet one on one, instead of us vs. them. I hate to put it that way, but maybe that way us polly kids recieve attention.
After our lovely evening we went back to Saba and Savtas and went to sleep.
Sunday was weird. Woke up, and went to target. We got some cool stuff. Pocket knives, clothes, ice cream scoopers, cds, and a barrel of monkeys. Then we went to get ready for the wedding. The reason for our trip. There was an open house when we got back, so we talked to the bored guy who was sitting in the house waiting to show it to people who showed up to see it. It was interesting.
We then drove to Crown Heights and attended the wedding of Chanaleh and Levi. It was huge and beautiful and amazing, and chanaleh looked stunning and was so happy it was adorable.
Everyone asked me to describe it, but it was a wedding, and what can you say? they got married and then we partied...
Back to New Jersey... sleep sleep sleep sleep... the bed is calling...
Should I save monday and tuesdays adverntures for tomorrow? or saturday night? I should go do some reall work since i've been writing this for half an hour! goodness gracious!!!! ok, g'night mush!

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

To all of my dear blog readers, guess whose back and awake?! The one and only (I hope) me!
School went by quickly today and I even went to chemistry class, a double period! I have a Tanach test tomorrow, so I really should study. I think i'll go do that now... oh, wait a minute! I forgot to tell you all about my adventures in America, and since someone kindly asked, I shall oblige :)
Thursday morning my Mommy drove us to the Air Port. Us= Abba, Lori, Me. Eli was in the car too (I just remembered that...) We went inside the terminal and got on the check in line. All the airport personal saw that we didnt all have passports, I have a teudat ma'avar and so does Abba (it does the same thing, for all of you who dont know, but this is part of the story so its being mentioned...) Anyway, they kept walking by us, as we inched foward on the line, and telling us that someone was going to come help us soon. Right before we reached the begining? of the line some one came and looked at our papers and then asked me what my birthday was (It took me a few seconds to remember it, but I only use it once a year so is it SO bad to forget my birthday?) They didnt x-ray our luggage, so we gave it to the nice lady, went through passport control and then walked around the airport, doing comparison pricing. After that got boring, we sat down by the gate and ate peanut butter captain crunch and waited to board the plane. The airplane was pretty empty and we all had seats next to each other. The Continental personal looked a bit haggard, but they were very nice. The flight itself was pretty bumpy, but no strange incidents occured. Lori and I watched "The Skeleton Key". I think its supposed to be a horror movie. Any ideas lors? The ending was good. It rest of the movie wasnt to bad. I watched "The Polor Express" with Abba. If you are in the mood to believe and visit Santa, its a great movie to watch! It is filled with holiday cheer. Happy Holidays! Oh, and thank you guys for all of the plane letters, they were entertaining.
The plane landed and we were early, so we waited on the runway and getting through the airport was very easy. We picked up our rental car, a gray Ford Taurus. I had to share the back row with the vacuum cleaner. It started snowing when we went outside to get the car, and I saw dirty snow piles on the ground, yeah!
We drove to Dougies and met up with Aunt Sabrina, Lisa, and Robin. It was fun! Lisa is a freshman, and she has the attitude and everything down pat, she reminded me of Rachel in most ways. Robin did not spill anything, a first, but she was her robin like self. Aunt Sabrina told us some great stories, I love hearing them! Then Hinda and Chava, Loris friends from sem came and we saw them too. Then we drove to New Jersey and went to Saba and Savtas and went to sleep.
Friday:
Wake up and get ready for a busy day...
Drive to Lakewood- get bagels, donuts, ice cream, and pies (for Saturday night)
Next stop- the Rag Shop- lots of model magic for my bentchumi and markers!
The Freehold Raceway mall- clothes for eli, smelly stuff for lori, a new brush
Barnes and Noble- books and books and books
Shoprite- food stuff and face wash and flowers
After this we went back to Saba and Savtas and got ready for Shabbat.
We drove over to Chabad, surprised them all and gave them flowers and cookies.
Quickly drove to the Halperts and shabbat started...
Ah, its supper time now, so I shall blog more later!
Give me a few hours and then the rest will be up!

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

I cant believe that I'm leaving for the airport in twelve hours. This is weird. I guess that life has been so random that nothing phases me or shocks me anymore. Like is an adventure. Always remember this and you'll do fine.
So in these twelve hours I have tons of stuff to do. Do laundry, bake, find a suitcase, put some clothes into it, sleep, shower, pack my carry-on. What am I supposed to put in it? a book, my bentchumi papers, writing utensils, paper, my toothbrush and toothpaste etc..., water bottle, and puffkin. Is that it? Wait, my phone (for before we leave and when we get back, I expect lots of calls when I get back. I'll probably hang up on you guys after a few seconds, but whatever! My wallet! It has maybe 77 cents in addition to all of my israeli money. That'll be a big help when I get to america. ;) I hope I remember how to count American money, when I get there.
hehehe! I'm getting excited! I think I'll pack, read a chapter or two and then get on with all this... Ok! ttyl people!
Bye Raizi, see ya when I get back!
Bye sara, ariella, ora, tamar, and all of you who dont read my blog and dont know I have one!
Bye to all of you people who live in Israel and read my blog and I dont know who you are, cause no one comments and when they do I seem to react funny!
Bye to all the people who live in other parts of the world and read my blog and dont comment on my blog anyway...
I shall post in America if I get a chance, but I dont know when I will get to a computer with internet, so this is a warning that I probably wont post til I get back, so come check my blog next tuesday night and I'll write down my journal of my adventures in America.
Ok, g'night mush!

Tuesday, December 13, 2005

I thought I was done talking before, but I realized that I have a lot of more random things to say. So, therefore, I think I'll say them, since it IS my blog and I can post whatever I want, and be myself, meaning grab a sammy dictionary, or try and imagine what the bleep is going on in my head. I warn you it will not be easy, but there are some cool fun facts and trivia questions in there :)
Did you know that everynight when I plug my phone in to charge, the phone lights up and says 'battery charged" when the battery is full? It freaks me out, because all of a sudden this green and blue light will pop from out of now where (which is on top of my printer, which is where my phone is when its charging, in case you ever need to find nowhere, I've just told you where it is...)
How is it that there is still a big chunck of ice in my water bottle (the one i froze monday night, if you read that post)? Its been out of the freezer all day, and now I'm going to have to brave the wild hordes of brendas who want to steal half of my clothes when I go down stairs to fill it up.
I think I should put my clothes into a suit case to take to america. Now that I figured that out, maybe I should find a suitcase and do it. But if I got things done the second I thought of them then you would know what my conrads eye patches are and you would know where mush comes from...
Well, that was predictable. I went to fill up my water bottle and what do I run into? a brenda and it says to me "I want that pink sweater, but my room is still messy. I also want leather boots." and then I fill up my water bottle and choke on the water and I found another mucus ball. Its gone now though. It was washed away with the tide, because mommy says that whenever I put flem into the sink I have to wash him down the drain.
Ok, enough randomness... this was more me-like... the other post was just depressing! ok, g'night mush!!!!!1

School went by quickly and felt really long. I realized that Sunday was a long time ago and I am going to America on Thursday morning. Weird!
I babysat again. I now have a babysitting job for every tuesday, so no after school adventures for me on Tuesday!
I was going to make cookies, but they I realized that there was no point, cause there was no one to eat them, except for little siblings, so I didnt make any. Even though I was supposed to. I dont have to wash any dishes at least. Maybe I should make to stick into the freezer? Whatever.
Wow, this blog sounds so un-me. excluding the first bit. I told everyone that I was feeling funny and off! No one ever listens to me! sigh, this is getting depressing! Ok, I'm going to go read cause I havent read any of my book since last night. Surprised? well I forgot it on my bed if that explains anything. I cant believe I ate three pitot today. They were yummy and besides for the shnitzel that was in one of them, that was all I ate, but I feel very full of bread. I'm not even on the bread diet. Oh, wait, I ate mashed potatoes too... starch! Great... I cant wait for thursday night... g'night mush

Monday, December 12, 2005

I woke up this morning and remember that I started an hour late, so I went back to sleep for an hour and over slept. How typical! When I woke up ten minutes before I needed to be on the bus, I realized something cool. My class was having a Navi test and I wasnt, so I didnt have to be at school til 12:45! So I called Raizi to double check, and when she told me she was in middle of baking a cake, I thanked Gd for my good fortune, showered, and went downstairs to start my day.
I made it to school in time for classes. Yeah! Then I came home and my Abba helped me print out all of my Chomer for my Bentchumi, so now I can work on it on the airplane! and highlight lots of stuff in cool colors! And then I went to babysit at the Clarks. They are really cute kids and well behaved. There was no crying either, which was a pleasent surprise.
I came home and I dont quite recall what I've done since I got home, but I think it included putting a waterbottle into the freezer, packing my back for tomorrow, yelling at my computer, and putting some clothes into the washing machine.
Ok, g'night everyone! Til tomorrow... g'night mush

Sunday, December 11, 2005

My mother just came into my room to look for a green frog that is somewhere on Loris numerous shelves. What is a green frog is my question, but supposedly it ate loris pearl necklace with a broken clasp. The clasp needs to be fixed. That is the whole point of this exercise. To find the pearls which are inside the green frog and to fix the clasp so Lori can wear the pearl necklace.
I went to two music stores today to find a recording of someone playing paul ben chaims awful music. One store owner told me that people dont usually request that composer, and I didnt need to wonder why. The second store owner looked through the bootom of the stacks of cds, and then I realized, this is hopeless... It really is a comical piece, earshattering too... Judy made a "no snickering" rule for while I'm playing it. I think the guy was drunk or something when he wrote it and he must have paid of people really big... Whats in a name? "Paul Ben Chaim" now you tell me...

Thursday, December 08, 2005

The best word to describe me this week must be TIRED. I've been sleeping a lot and I still am tired. Its strange! Why do I bring this up? Well, I slept through my alarm clock, and my mommy alarm and finally made the eight o'clock bus. Then Tamar and I waited for the twentyone together. It came and got us to school twenty minutes late. Oh well... It was only toshbah, and the teacher had just walked into the classroom. At least toshbah was interesting today.
Good news! They fixed the piano in school! Ah ha! Yay! So I put Raizi to sleep playing my Eric Satie piece. Its so good, sigh, it really is soothing and makes you sleepy and calm, and everyone whispers when its over. Its really cool. Then rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Raizi and I had tons of fun in Lashon, right ;) We drove the teacher crazy! I got a ride home with Sharon Gross. Tamar came too. So when we got to RBS, I walked with her to her house and then waited for daddy and he finally came and we went home. Guess what I did? Practiced Piano. Then it was supper time (after helping cook it, and clear and set the table...) Then Lori and me "started cleaning" our room. Some how this meant doing laundry. Hmmm, maybe I need to look up these terms in the thesaurus? Then I had a piano lesson. They are so much fun! I get to have another one on Sunday! Cause Thursday I'm leaving for America! Yeah! I cant wait to land and go out to eat... Dougies here we come! hehehe! yes! Its going to be such a funny trip! and eventful! The second this year, as if the UK trip wasn't bad enough. Well, at least Abba will be driving on the regular side of the road and we know our way around. I mean, it IS our old stomping grounds... I think maybe I'll set the alarm clock on my ipod to Mozart and go to sleep (once I find my bed!)
g'night mush
oh yeah, I will put pictures on, like explaining the link to my blog and some other weird things that I write about continuously, when Lori shows me how and I get around to it (maybe in a month or two...)

Wednesday, December 07, 2005

HAHAHA! Well, today was funny, I guess. It started out bittersweet. Bitter that I had chemistry and sweet that I slept through it and ate bagels and drank hot chocolate for breakfast.
Then Raizi gave me a nonfiction story to read that she had printed off of her computer. Sometimes I wonder about people ;) I mean that in the best possible way :) hehehe!
Then during shiur chinuch, we described ourselves and other people... by picking what part of a car we represent. It was a very good p'ielut, at least I thought it was.
Machshevet was supposedly funny, but I kept missing all the jokes, at least I was able to take notes today. The teacher is much nicer and easier to understand than last year.
History was boring, as usual. It is interesting, when i'm not waiting to get home... And then it was finally over. So I packed up my bag, put Raizis books back onto her shelf (if you were wondering where they went), and then Ariella and I left school and waited for the 21. It finally came and we got on, and then when I went to get off (by Loris apartment to pick up my stuff) I realized I had given Brenda my keys! so scratch that idea.
So we go to Tachanah Mercazit and then I get on a 420 and after we're on route one for a few minutes, I open my bag to study history. And then I realize that I have Brendas clothing! Whoops!!!!!!!!!! Well, that was a surprise! So I called my Eema. and I was trying not to cry, so I laughed and teared while I spoke to her. And there was a chayal sitting next to me and he thought I was crazy. and to tell you the truth, I thought I was a bit crazy too. I think I'm crazier, when I dont get my daily shower. hmmm, but I showered twice on Sunday, so dont think I dont think I'm not ever clean... I am, usually, except for the mornings that I dont... (Raizi, do think its at times like these, people get the impression that I'm a bit strange? Or is it an overall effect from my writing style?!?!)
When I got home, mommy decided that we were going to buy our chickens for shabbat. So we drove up to Ramat Beit Shemesh and bought chickens and meat and found a shirt and now I have a complete outfit for Chanalehs wedding! Yeah. And it is very plain and very me, so Raizi, dont worry about me yet... I am NOT turning into a girly girl. At least not today, while my zits are still in control of a quarter of my face.
Ok, I've bored you enough for now and I have to reread my notes for my lashon test tomorrow and I have to practice piano some more (i memorized the Eric Satie piece!)...
g'night mush

I shall start this post off at the first time I woke up this morning. At 12:05 am I woke up on the sofa and decided to put frosting onto the cake that Brenda, Ezri, and I made at ten o'clock. So since I didnt want to get so many utensils dirty I mixed it up by hand. The margarine and powdered sugar dont get creamed so well that way, but to make up for it I used Ameretto instead of Vanilla or Mint. Oh, and I made it light green. So I frosted the cake and sprinkled chocolate shavings over it, covered it, and stuck it back into the meat oven for safe keeping. Then I gathered up all of my belongings that were scattered around the sofa (dirty socks, laptop, notes that I had been studying from, my cell phone, and a text book) and then headed upstairs. I then got ready for bed and studied some more until I fell asleep. This would concluded the story of my midnight adventure.
Ok, so when I woke up at five thirty, I realized that I had to get ready to go to school, pack to go to Loris apartment, not forget my cake, and finish studying for ezrachut. so thats what I did. I even got to school only twenty minutes late! amazing! (I dropped of some stuff at Loris place, other wise it might have only been five, but you know how the buses run...)
So after Toshbah, we have an hour and a half presentation, about how music affects the body and the soul... like they need to give me anymore ideas! Ha! It was funny though (until the end) and I even recognized the hippie music! Leah Nesher then brought the discussion to an end and we all headed back to the 12th grade hallway. Raizi, Dena, Shira, Ora, and I then decided to become a study group for the next twenty minutes. Its a good thing we did too, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to answer the question that wasnt on the test anyway!
So after twenty or so minutes our mechanechet comes walking down the hallway and tell us that we have ANOTHER hartza'ah when the bell rings and we should all go downstairs. So we do. The guy who was speaking told us all about how its important to be part of the chevrah but to also be yourself at the same time. I really just made it sound stupid, but it wasnt, I am just not in the mood to explain right now. He brought HaRav Kooks opinion and this is where we were learning the whole thing, but his point was, we have to know ourselves in order to feel like we actually gave our best to our jobs in Sherut Leumi, and therefore if we want we can come learn in Medrasha for a year. Its a possiblity, if you keep an open mind.
We then ran back to our classroom and had torah, which afterwards we ate my cake. I really dont get it. Girls who wanted cake left the classroom when they saw we were cutting it and then came in ten minutes later and asked why there was no cake left. Havent they learned anything about their classmates in the past how many years?!?!?! I'm not feeling bad about it, thats all, so maybe if I ever decide to make another one...
In Machshevet we got new chovrot and this time the cover is blue! yeah!
Then we had our ezrachut test. It wasnt to bad, but I didnt have enough time and Raizi, he wanted to leave so he took my test, I was thinking before he made me give it in.
Oh! My phone can hold 142 messages. pfff... who said 200, and where one earth did they come up with a number like 142?
I walked to Loris apartment after school. An hour of pollution every now and then cant do too much harm can it? Well, my shoulders hurt a lot now, plus I just ate half a package of tea biscuits and the onion soup that Lori made smells really good! Its just a bit to yellow Lorz... well it has more time to cook, so who knows! ok, tired, need to do homework, the sofa is calling...
g'night mush!

I want to have the flu, like I had last year. All I was expected to do was be sick, sleep on the sofa, watch movies, read, eat scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes, and not worry about school or the rest of the world for a week. Doesnt it sound like fun?! Unfortunatly my temperature is normal and everything is in semiworking order. I am going a little crazy from stress, but what else is new? My daddy says that I get zits when I'm stressed, but if the zits are part of the stress, then how will they ever go away?
I'll tell you about my history test! I got a sixty. Isnt that exciting. At least I dont have to do Moed Bet, right Raizi?!?!?! Hope you are having fun baking!
Ummm, what else... trying to understand the ezrachut book isnt easy. I think I need a very strong drink!
hmmmmmm...
Question of the day... Why me?!
today doesnt even deserve a g'night mush... the moon is probably out to get me too...

So I'm trying to figure out when I started to wear my latest pair of contact lenses and I know I wrote it down in at least three different places, but it seems as if the whole world is put to get me today and I cant find out when I need to put in a new pair. *sigh* what a day! A test at eight o'clock. That was interesting. Then from nine fifteen til two fourty five = free periods. So Raizi, Tamar, and I went to town. Upon arriving, we attacked bagels. It was fun! Then we found yet another pair of boots for Tamar to buy. I was thinking they would look good with my skirt for the wedding, but it seems as if my legs arent fat enough to fit into them. Darn, I guess I wont buy new shoes... *ring ring ring* thats the sound a phone makes when someone is trying to call you, if anyone was wondering. Yeah, we heard that sound and it turns out we didnt have torah, hence the FIVE free hours. So we walked around the midrechov and were all totally bored and tired. So we decided to head back to school and study for our upcoming test in ezrachut. But then we heard that wonderful sound that signals an incoming call and we were told to wait for Yael to arrive and then we could all go buy her Fimo for her bentchumi. So after seeing Tamar get on a bus and leave us, cause she had English class... Raizi and I waited for Yael. And a short while later we saw Yael and Shira heading toward us. We all stagger to the art shop and pass some other interesting places on the way, which I WILL talk about, but not yet... So we buy Yael her Fimo and then we head back to the cool shops! Now, i'll talk about them. One of them was a second hand music store. Cds and Records... It was really really cool. We didnt get anything, cause Raizi and Yael were scared of the place, Shira had no money on her, and all the good cds my lovely family already has! The second cool store was the second hand book shop. Oh My Goodness! It was amazing! It never ended. When you look into the window as you pass it, you see a few shelves of cheap second hand books. When you go inside to check them out then you find a staircase that leads to another huge room that is filled with books. This leads to yet another room which is where (much to yonatans dismay) I found the sequel to Catch-22 in good condition for twenty shekel waiting on the shelf for me to come a take it. No, I have not really started reading it because first I was so hyped up over finding it and then we were walking and then it was class and then the rest of the day got really weird, but I'll let you know how it ends tomorrow. stam, just kidding. I think I might savor this! We got back to school. It was pretty boring! Then I got a ride home with Atara and ate yummy soup and then my mommy trimmed my hair. And now my computer battery is blinking red, so g'night mush!

All in all, shabbat was pretty good! Friday night, after shul and a yummy supper, we walked to nofi aviv. There were lots of people around. The stupidest comment of the night was when these two guys were talking and I was talking to someone else, but we were all standing near each other. Anyway, I finish talking and one of the guys turns to me and says "Cant you see we're having a conversation here? Dont just butt in!" Um, brainless oaf? Yeah, thats my opinion of him! One of the funniest comments of the night was when Gabi offered me some potato chips and I said no thank, I already brushed my teeth. "So, brush them again later..." I told him I think I brush my teeth to many times already, so no thank you. Then he laughed and said "Well, you and I are very different arent we?!" Yes Gabi, we are (except for the Catch-22, Monty Python, and music bit...) Aviva, how DO you do it??? Anyway, when we got back to the street, Sam Green (the cat) fell asleep in my lap for an hour. The only cat I actually dont mind petting... I went to shul after seven hours of forced sleep. And then upon arriving home, we ate one of the best lunches that I ate in a long time. I was busting at the seams. Its a good thing all I had to do for the rest of the day was study. Studying at home was way too noisy... little siblings! who else! So I solved the problem by taking them across the street to the ampi and they played ball and red light green light. It was very cute and it was pleasing to see Brenda, Ezri, and Avi get along so nicely. Lori wasnt feeling well or else she would have come to play with them too, but alas! Woe is us : ) I study and get mentally sick and she goes and gets sick for real... Feel Better Lori!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 : ) ummm, what else? so now I have to finish studying for my Toshba test that is at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning... so wish me luck, pray for me, and have a g'night mush!

Todays lesson: You cannot hide from your problems! Its important to remember this, but runaway from them for a little while can be relaxing and fun! Just I'm not sure if under ones bed is the best place for a party :)
What have I done today? Umm, try and be helpful. I peeled some vegetables, braided the challah, annoyed my mommy, and finished the end of the really good book. I need to get the next one now cause i'm hanging in suspense! dum dum dum... What will happen next? I guess i'll find out when I get the book, no?!
This weekend is going to be really busy and with a Toshbah test on Sunday, yeah...
The weather was perfect this morning! The sky was a brilliant blue and it wasnt to warm or to cold and you wouldnt know that its December second already! Maybe we should tell the weather... I want snow on Chanukah, but I somehow dont think it'll happen.
Ok, time to go help clean!
Shabbat Shalom!
hmmmm, forgot something...
oh right!
mush!

I officially have none of my own clothes... It has been decided. Thank you sisterS dear! I bought a skirt for chanalehs wedding... Its really pretty and a combination of me and not me. I also bought a comical present for Mr. Halpert... Um, school today was boring and slow... But I was informed that my application to do the bagrut in music was accepted, so yay on that count... I have a piano lesson in a bit so g'night mush!

I just thought i'd let everyone know that I am in the process of cleaning my room. I pushed the pullout bed back under my bed and now there is room to walk. I also folded all my clothes and now my closet is as neat as it gets. The rest I think i'll leave for Lori ;) yes sister dear, for you! I love your massage table and everything, but it takes up a lot of room!
I decided to give everyone a lesson in forgiveness... It is important to forgive people, even if they did something wrong in your opinion. Please everybody, take this to heart! So if you are upset at anybody forgive them! This may cause other people to forgive you and it'll make others respect you more. Plus always consider why they acted as they did... maybe they thought they were justified in their actions or they could have made a mistake. And why should people be punished for ALL of their mistakes... I would get into trouble at least twenty times a day! Anyway, I declare tomorrow forgiveness day, so go around forgiving people and have fun doing it!!!!!!!
Don't worry mommy... I'm going to return your hat right now! and in honor of western day...
G'night for real this time y'all!
G'night mush.
